The top is finished. I think I like it. Pretty bright, but cool. Now I decided to go without the sashing since I put the blocks together and liked it better this way.
So now I need some opinions. How should I quilt this? Some have said random circles. Which I agree would be fun, but in what colors? Should I use multiple colors? Hand quilting or machine? I would love some opinions!
Also, some of you may know yesterday was my birthday! Yay! I got fabric from my mom. I sent her a wish list and this is what I got. Sanctuary, Modern Meadow and Central Park. Yummy!
Thanks MOM!

yummy fabrics! My brain is shot so I currently have suggestions for you on quilting. Sorry. ;)
Happy Birthday. Your quilt is really pretty. I see a cool star in the middle so no sashing is great for this quilt. A spiraling circle might look cool for quilting. Your mom sent you some great fabric.
Wow! Awesome. I think hand-quilting random circles would look cool.
I hope you had a wonderful birthday! I do think using multicolor thread would be nice, especially since you have the solid colors in the blocks. I don't hand quilt, so I can't suggest that. But I think even stitching in the ditch, or echo stitching would give this a more modern look.
Happy birthday Amy!! You got some great prints!
For the quilting you could always do random colors that match the solids, and I think hand quilting would be gorgeous!
Hand-quilting would be awesome!!! Your mom did good on her fabric choices!!!!
oh, I'm gonna have to echo the hand quilting idea... :) It looks great! and good job MOM. :)
Happy Birthday! Your mum did really well picking out fabrics for you :-)
I love the random circles idea for this quilt. I think it will go really well.
cool quilt! Different colors would be really cute!
Happy Birthday!!! I love where your DQS project is going. I think different colored hand stitched circles would be super cool!
