Inspiration quilts

I went to the local quilt show this weekend and saw some great inspiration quilts. I tend to be drawn these.
I plan on making one of these, if not all of them at some time, with my scraps from quilting. I don't have enough scraps for anything like this now but when I do you better believe I will make some of these. I just love them!

Those are GREAT quilts. I love traditional style quilts as well. I built up my "scraps" by picking up fat eighths and remnants at quilt stores. Sometimes they will bundle up scraps and sell those as well. Another great place is estate sales or garage sales. Oh, and thrift stores sometimes have fabric too. Also, look for cotton garments in good condition and cut those up for quilting.

Have a great time on your quilting journey!

Each one of those is so beautiful - as much as I love fresh and modern, there's something really appealing about very traditional quilts. Although, d you ever really need quilts in Texas?!

My main purpose I blog is to share my creations with others so I can learn and grow as a quilter. I am especially here to make new friends, so please comment! I love ALL of them!
