I definitely like the white with maybe the bottom or top layout
I like layout 5 with white as a background.

I like the layouts on #1 and 5, but definely with the white. But what if you did a sashing in white around the blocks and then used the tan in the borders???
Thank you everyone! I think I will probably go with number 1, hubby likes that one best. Thank you so much for all of your comments! Tells me they would all be a good choice and everyone likes something different.
I love number two! I think the wonky-ness of the pattern fits the squares beautifully! Number one is fabu too. :)
coming in late here, but i like the lattice setting on the tan, though with differences in computer monitors, i may be seeing a very different tan than what it looks like in person. and looks like you won't be needing the tutorial at the meeting! LOL!
